Lazos de Amistad consists of freelance language instructors, translators and interpreters who are native speakers and specialists in various fields driven by a shared committment to excellence. The diversity of nationalities and specialties of our staff ensures that no interpretation or translation work will have negative connotations resulting from cultural insensitivities or ignorance. Our team also consists of project managers who coordinate and tailor our services according to the needs of the client and nature of each project.
OUR MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE

Producing a quality translation requires a skilled network of people, from an experienced native language translator to a conscientious expert reviewer to a meticulous proof-reader. Consulting with experts in each field, we assure the quality of the final product we deliver.
For each project, we utilize skills-based protocols to match our professional translators and interpreters to the unique challenges each job presents. In the case of translations, if the size of the document and the project timeline require multiple translators, our project managers build a glossary specific to the project that is used by everyone involved in the work, ensuring consistency of terminology throughout the entire document. This crucial step ensures accuracy of the finished document and minimizes revisions once the translation is complete.
As another quality step following completion of the translation, a similarly skilled professional translator is in charge of the proofreading.
Finally, we format and deliver the completed translation according to specifications provided by the client for each project.

TRANSCRIPTION
Our transcribers are professionals accustomed to handling sensitive material. From HR training videos, promotional videos, consumer advertising campaigns, corporate PR videos, to D.E.A. or criminal investigations, we deliver precise transcriptions. All transcribers must sign a confidentiality agreement. We ensure discretion, reliability, and accuracy in all projects.
VOICEOVER
Our voiceover talents collaborate to produce a quality rendering of your promotional copy or training mission. We have provided voiceover services for sales, promotional and corporate training videos for major industries, as well as for TV programs, documentaries and movies. OVER-THE-PHONE INTERPRETING (OPI)
Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI), also known as remote interpreting, refers to interpreting services provided via telephone links, in which neither the interpreter nor the parties are in the same physical location. Most OPI interpreting is done consecutively.
Our OPI services are available in over 52 languages, with a particular focus on the Spanish language. OPI interpreters are all native speakers and accessible 24x7x365 via pre-booked arrangements.
